Review: Home Front: four stars (out of five) Sylvester Stallone wrote and produced the action thriller (based on the book of the same name by Chuck Logan). He was planning on starring in the film, but instead handed the role of a friend (and current favorite action star) Jason Statham. Statham is his usual self ultimate badass in the movie and go up against none other than James Franco as the greatest movie villain! The cast includes Winona Ryder also, Kate Bosworth, Frank Grillo and Clancy Brown! To be retired DEA agent looking to escape the dangerous world of crime fighting moves herself and her daughter in a small town OGI. Again he finds trouble in the form of small time drug meth-Lord, whos trying to expand their business. The script is pretty routine, but the action and topnotch performances. Definitely worth a look for any fan or film Statham plays action junkie.Statham Good undercover agent named Phil Broker helps biker gang bust of the head, Danny T (Chuck Zito), in prison. TS Danny's son was also killed during the bust and Broker Danny accuses of it. Two years later, after Phil's wife passes away, he moves himself and his daughter Maddy (Izabela Vidovic) to a small town to retire to a quiet life. When Maddy defends himself against the school bully and embarrass him, asking Bullys mother (Bosworth) to handle meth brother Gator (Franco) to scare bridge icéirí. Gator soon find out who really Broker, about to mess with it, and decide to use the information received to help expand his business. Brokerage is on track to beat a lot of guys to get themselves out of trouble when again.I miss the 80s action movie TSI l = the type of Stallone and Schwarzenegger used to star in. When the guys who used to do it was scannána event and made a ton of money. Cant now the most popular action star in Hollywood (Statham) as the opening film worth 10 million! Its a shame that the majority of moviegoers would rather see a nice boyfriend fake tough guy CGI-ed in action hero role than watching the real thing (Statham and certainly the real thing). If you want a kick-ass action movie true 80s style than this is the film for you and Statham certainly delivers (again). Franco is also a pleasure to watch as the despicable villain dealing meth and various career (by making wildly different roles in each film) Appointments; onn becoming more and more prominent. Ryder Bosworth and all the other good part in the film as well. Everyone's a standout there (at least the main players). By Gary Fleder (who also directed thrillers like JURY Runaway, KISS girls DONT say a word and things to do in DENVER received when drowning S and is) a fine job directing the film, and it certainly delivered everything I expected from the .
