Review: Gone in 60 Seconds / (2000) *** (out of four) Gone in 60 Seconds is an energetic, slick, stylish action image with high-octane star and a lot of great looking cars. If you are interested spectator cars this production, producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Con Air, Rock), is worth seeing just to feast their eyes gleaming vehicles. Although the film releases weakness in many areas of the stench, the exact meaning of the action and excitement that the average time a successful summer thrill. Artists Giovanni Ribisi (The Mod Squad) as a young hustler named Kip Raines, who, as the film opens is not presented a long list of expensive cars powerful criminal Raymond Calitri (Christopher Eccleston). Kips when life is in danger, for example, his older brother, Randall Memphis Raines (Nicolas Cage), a retired but experienced thief called to perform the task in exchange for his brothers Survival: Steel fifty cars indicate the color of the model year and make only four days. Memphis paid the first three days, the team employs many thugs to help him pull off a robbery. Crew includes Sara Sway Wayland (Angelina Jolie), a sexy yet rough retired gambler knowing Memphis car of the former business colleague called Mirror Man (TJ Cross), aging and wise Otto Halliwell (Robert Duvall) and cup (Scott Caan) Atlee Jackson (Will Patton), Toby (William Lee Scott) and Donnie Astricky (CHI McBrde). Contribute to the movies and drive voltage subplot involving two police detectives, Roland Castlebeck (Delroy Lindo) and Drycoff (Timothy Olyphant), who suspect from past experience that Memphis and his crew are up to no good, and extra care observed them. There is not much time for character development here, the audience was introduced to these people, even though they sound way of life and take the complex personalities of the serious movie, stylish atmosphere. On top of movie dialogue can not determine the nature of culturally challenging tone. I'm not where I need profanity and vulgarity thrillers thrive, I actually pay tribute to directors decision to keep extremely foul language in the film that could have very easily won rating R. However, I am sure, like Gone in 60 Seconds movie, strongly developed characters to enlightenment, the dialogue must be credible and authentic. Despite the problems, the characters are effective due to the high-class, well-cast performers who are responsible. Nicolas Cages melodramatic performance is strong and convincing. Smooth appearance of Angelina Jolie is totally inappropriate. Delroy Lindo is deliciously strong and believable. Giovanni Ribisi, Scott Caan, Robert Duvall, Will Patton, and Christopher Eccleston satisfactory supporting roles. The film is a standard structure, the first step in the right measure defining Storys style and motifs character created theme quick action, but the lack of depth and strong characters. In the second stage, we run into a few problems: The Story of wasting time over this segment, you'll build the third stage. Until the middle of the movie takes a long time and provides a high sex scene in the middle of the plot, rather than a bunch of it. The third act is almost just an adrenaline rush with furious wall to wall excitement, and one of the most intense car chase sequences ever filmed. Soundtrack Gone in 60 Seconds, contributing very inspiring action scenes. This scene, and car chases, which makes this film work despite several disastrous mistakes. Dominic Sena, whose career consisted mainly of directing commercials, has an attractive style and critical approach to Gone in 60 seconds, which gives the audience two hours excitement, emotion and excitement, "but not much more.
