Review: I think the main theme of the movie summed up somewhere in the middle, where Donnie says, it is a very useful self-help guru and he says something like this: Yes, I'm scared and I'm confused. But I think I f ** king the Antichrist! Finally _Donnie Darko_ is a film about people who live life and all the emotions in it very deeply. Donnie itself is usually benign (often brave) young man who is morbidly afraid of loneliness and thoughts of spiritual isolation. His search for meaning and self pushes him to the periphery of our reality, which only serves to isolate it more from the world he loves. Those few who realize that largely go unnoticed Donnie experience (as his girlfriend Gretchen tragedy or overweight is remarkable sensitive girl) or rare (such as the Karen, an English teacher, whose only sin is trying to show his disciples. it 's no such thing as a true end) Of course, this film is not far from polarizes his characters (in fact, the polarization is the last thing this film is trying to achieve), and most of them are the just a cluster of beautiful and grotesque: Donnies parents while still confused love and mentioned his own assistant Jim Cunningham, who is desperately trying to spread the lie that keeps it normal for everyone, and sister Donnies, struggling between her identity as an adult and its identity as a child. Then there Frank. All I can say is that nothing can prepare you for or adequately describe Frank.Probably best thing about this film is his incredible emotional range. This can give you hope, love, fear, laughter and tears at various points throughout the film without forcing you to feel in the slightest that there is no contradiction between the two countries. Scenes with Frank (especially the one that takes place in the office of therapists in the midst of talks about the end of the world), it's honestly some of the worst things I've ever seen in a movie, just made the creeps. Finally, the performances in this film subtle. Talent in the film at the highest level, even Gyllenhall just amazing. But despite this, the movie has a bleak future. Combine the fact that the vast majority of the public theaters just think that unbearably curious fact that the film begins with an airplane crashed in the building (which can be very definition of Bad Timing), and it is clear that the movie will stay underground. However, if you're looking for a unique film experience _Donnie Darko_ as good as it gets.
